This is the inaugural post of this blog, the venue where I’ll share thoughts and insights into the topics of technology, computer science, cooking, and the outdoors. Of course, you’d probably like to know a little bit more about me.

About Me

Sometimes you just need a helmet in life! And always on an ATV.

My name is Greg, and I live in Central New York. I am a professional computer scientist and program manager, writing mostly in Java and Python.

When I’m not working, I enjoy spending time in the outdoors, cooking (smoking meats, especially!), or working on my personal technical projects, like Pysubtracking. On the thought of cooking, has anyone tried a Pit Barrel Cooker yet?
